Read those thresholds as cost triggers rather than rules. Crossing $49.99 is cheap because tracking rides along with ordinary parcel services anyway. Crossing $250 is the expensive step, because signature confirmation is a separate charge on top of the postage.

The postage gap between a single slab and a sealed box is $1.80 at the cheapest row. Cards are almost free to move; the money is in what the order value forces you to add. USPS lists signature confirmation at $5.15 retail and $4.15 electronic (USPS Notice 123, re-checked 2026-07-28), so a $250 order can pay more for the signature than for half the label.
Card sellers ship many similar parcels and one very different one. Group the bubble mailers and buy those labels together, then treat every sealed box or high-value slab as its own decision, because those are the ones where a wrong service costs real money.
Standalone US domestic parcel labels are the whole product here, bought as a guest. There is no TCGplayer integration, no order import and no fulfillment. You buy the label, then paste the tracking number into the seller portal yourself, which is the same manual step most small sellers already do.
On the slab quote, moving from an eight to nine day window to a two to three day window cost $1.93. For a buyer waiting on a card they just paid three figures for, that is often the cheapest goodwill available.
The published guidelines require tracking or delivery confirmation on orders over $49.99, and both tracking and signature confirmation on orders of $250 or more. Orders over $20 should carry tracking for the seller's own protection, and the carriers integrated with the seller portal are USPS, UPS and FedEx.

TCGplayer's guidance is to seal the cards in a team bag, put them in a small bubble mailer, and add cardboard or a top loader so the package cannot bend. Its list of acceptable fill is packing peanuts, bubble wrap, air cushions and foam pads.
