Engineered, not estimated
The habits of someone who ran production networks for a living, applied to parcels.
Before SMKlog, Dmitrii spent twenty-five years building and running large-scale communication networks — capacity planning, traffic modeling, the engineering that keeps a system up when millions depend on it. He started SMKlog because parcel prices looked like guesses, and he wanted numbers.
Priced live, every time
Every quote hits the production rate systems of USPS, UPS, and FedEx for your exact box and route. There is no rate chart on this site older than the moment you asked, and the all-in number you see is the number at checkout.
Measured and published
Once a month SMKlog reprices a fixed basket of six boxes to five cities and publishes every figure with its capture date — the parcel price index. The cost guides quote real parcels through the same pipeline. When our data is wrong, it is wrong in public.
Nothing fragile in the middle
Payments run on Stripe hosted checkout, parcels ride the USPS, UPS, and FedEx networks — DHL Express on some export lanes — under each carrier’s own rules, and labels come from production carrier accounts. SMKlog adds the pricing engine — not another warehouse. SMKlog sells parcel labels only and does not arrange pallet or freight shipments.
One engineer accountable
The founder built the system and answers the inbox. A question about a quote goes to the person who wrote the code that produced it — not to a ticket queue.
The company
The facts a bank or a partner asks for first.
