At three or four parcels a week that fee is the largest line in your shipping cost, which is the whole reason this page exists.

The shape of that column is the argument. A seller posting one parcel every couple of days is paying somewhere near four dollars a label before postage, and a seller clearing fifty is paying thirty cents. Neither of those people is wrong, they are just at different points on the same curve.

USPS Ground Advantage came back cheapest and fastest at once on this pull: $8.86 for a 2-3 business day window. UPS Ground cost $10.69 for 3-4 days, a case where the pricier row bought nothing back in speed. That ranking moves lane by lane and week by week, which is the whole reason to requote rather than trust a chart.

Somewhere around thirty or forty parcels a month, the fee per label drops far enough that the automation starts paying for itself in saved minutes rather than saved dollars. Below that line the tooling is mostly idle and the fee is not.
