How to write the label
Publication 28 puts the attention line above the recipient line, so the guest name goes on top and the hotel underneath, then the hotel street address, then city, state and ZIP. Add the arrival date beside the guest name; Disney asks that mail clearly feature the word Guest on the front along with the date of arrival, per disneyworld.disney.go.com, checked 2026-07-28, and the Westin property publishes the same shape as a two-part attention line carrying guest name and arrival date.
The rules that catch people out
Three of them recur. First, a hotel will usually refuse a package for someone with no reservation on file, because there is no name to attach it to. Second, an early delivery can convert a handling fee into a daily storage charge, which is why the three-day and seven-day limits above are worth reading. Third, anything requiring a signature from the addressee, or an age check, has to be handed to the guest rather than the desk.
When the front desk is the wrong plan
If nobody can be named, or the property will not accept deliveries, park the parcel on the carrier network instead. A Post Office hold or a carrier pickup location keeps the box in a staffed place until the traveler collects it with identification, and it sidesteps handling fees entirely. We sell US domestic parcel labels only, so a hotel outside the United States is outside what our checkout can price.
