Ruggable's clock starts at production, not checkout
A Ruggable order is made to order, not pulled off a shelf. The company's own shipping page, read 2026-08-31, sets a 7-10 business day production window for standard orders, and flags on that same page that it was then running 1-2 weeks because of a Labor Day sale — a temporary surge on top of the baseline, not a new baseline. Whichever figure applies, a carrier still has to move the finished box after that.

The order has to exist before a carrier can pick it up.
Clock one: production, not a warehouse pick
Ruggable's own shipping page, read 2026-08-31, states: “Because Ruggable products are made to order, production and delivery timing may vary by product type, shipping method, and destination.” For standard shipping it adds: “Orders typically ship within 7 to 10 business days.” The same section then carries a dated caveat: “Due to high order volume from our Labor Day Sale, estimated shipping times are currently 1–2 weeks.”
Treat the 7-10 business day figure as the normal baseline and the 1-2 week note as what a specific sale event was doing to it on the day we read the page. Ruggable's page also states some products need additional production time shown at checkout or in order tracking, so an individual order can run longer than either figure above.
Clock two: what the carrier quotes once it ships
Ruggable's shipping page names FedEx for both its standard and express options. We ran a folded rug-and-pad box — 24 × 16 × 5 in, 12 lb — through the SMKlog engine on 2026-08-31, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922 to Chicago, IL 60614. Stack either window onto Ruggable's own 7-10 business day production figure and a door-to-door total on this lane runs roughly 9 to 15 business days at baseline, cheapest service through fastest. During the sale surge Ruggable itself was quoting, that same math starts from 1-2 weeks of production alone, before a carrier day is added. Neither total is a promise — it is two published windows added together for one dated example.

Ruggable's own wording is that express shipping prioritizes production, not that it skips it. The order still gets made before it ships, just sooner in the line.
Sale volume moves the baseline
The 1-2 week note we read on 2026-08-31 was tied explicitly to a Labor Day sale. Treat any dated surge note on Ruggable's own page as temporary, and check it again around future sale weekends.

How long does Ruggable take to ship?

Why does Ruggable call it production time instead of processing time?
Because the rug is not sitting in a warehouse waiting for a pick. Ruggable's shipping page states production and delivery timing may vary by product type, shipping method and destination, and that some products need additional production time shown at checkout or in order tracking, which is a different clock than a retailer boxing up stock that already exists.
Does Ruggable offer faster shipping, and what does it change?

The order still has to be made before it ships express, so express mainly moves you up the production queue rather than replacing the wait entirely.
Does Ruggable ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
No. Ruggable's shipping page states plainly that it does not ship to PO boxes, including APO and FPO addresses, or US territories. Enter one at checkout and Ruggable emails asking for a physical address; without a reply within 7 days the order is automatically canceled.
