Do retailers extend return windows for the holidays?
Some publish it, some do not. Walmart states that most items purchased in-store or online from October 1 through December 31 are returnable until January 31. Target's published window is 90 days for most items with a note that holiday and limited-time collections may have modified policies. Best Buy publishes 15 days for most items and 60 for its paid membership tiers. All three read on 2026-07-28.
What does an extended window cost a small seller?
Postage on every accepted return, at the rate that applies when the label is bought rather than when the sale happened. Small parcels are the common case and they are cheap: on 2026-07-28, Newark to Atlanta quoted $8.48 for a 2 lb mug-sized box, $8.86 for a padded envelope and $9.91 for a 1 lb book, all USPS Ground Advantage.
How long does a return label stay usable?
That is a carrier question, not a policy you can set. Our terms cover the other side of it: unused labels may be eligible for a carrier void or postage refund only where the selected carrier allows it, and those refunds are not certain and can take time to process. Print the label when the buyer is ready to ship rather than months ahead.
Can I buy return labels without an account?
Yes. We sell US domestic parcel labels as a guest checkout, tracking included, with no signup and no subscription. We do not sell international labels, fulfillment or storefront integrations, so a return crossing a border needs a different route.
