It is a length and volume based adder printed under each price table in Notice 123. For prices effective July 12, 2026 it is $4.50 past 22 inches, then $10.00 past 30 inches on Ground Advantage or $21.00 on Priority, and $21.00 or $35.00 respectively past 3,456 cubic inches.
Does the fee depend on which service I pick?
Yes, and by a lot. Past 30 inches, Ground Advantage charges $10.00 where Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express charge $21.00. Over two cubic feet the gap widens to $21.00 against $35.00.
What is USPS oversized pricing?
A parcel measuring more than 108 inches but not more than 130 inches in combined length and girth is charged at the oversized price for its zone regardless of weight. Above 130 inches USPS does not carry the parcel at all.
How much does a long tube actually cost?
