Read live from https://quote-api.smklog.com/status when this page loads. The liveness answer is the same document the RFC 9727 api-catalog links as the status relation.

ComponentHostHow it is checked
Quote API (REST)https://quote-api.smklog.comGET /status above; the quote, checkout and status operations run on the same worker.
MCP serverhttps://quote-api.smklog.com/mcpSame worker as the REST surface; answers JSON-RPC only, so a browser cannot probe it. A healthy /status means a healthy /mcp.
A2A endpointhttps://quote-api.smklog.com/a2aSame worker; same rule.
Discovery documentssmklog.com/.well-known/*, quote-api.smklog.com/openapi.jsonStatic files on the site and cached answers on the API host, both served through Cloudflare.
Site and checkoutsmklog.comPayments run on Stripe hosted checkout; a Stripe outage shows there, not here.

Incident history

Kept from the day this page went up. An entry is written when the API answered errors or was unreachable for longer than a few minutes, with the cause once it is known.

Carrier-side outages (a carrier rating service not answering) surface as mode: parcel_rates_unavailable on a 200, not as an API error, and are not incidents of this service.

Watching it yourself

Poll GET https://quote-api.smklog.com/status no more than once a minute; it is cacheable for an hour at the edge and carries ok, service, version and the server time. The version there is the same product version the OpenAPI document and the MCP server card report, so a mismatch between them is itself a finding worth a note to support.
